Moore's work focuses primarily on two subject areas: still life and narrative paintings with figures and animals. Colour is a dominant force in her work as is strong drawing which she attributes to her Glasgow School of Art training where she gained a BA (Hons) in Drawing and Painting. Following this she won a travelling scholarship and spent a year studying at the L'Ecole des Beaux-arts at Aix-en-Provence in France. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and her work is held in private collections in the U.S. and Australia. She is based in Balloch, near Loch Lomond and tutors at adult painting classes.
