This image depicts a marigold plant. The artist's use of intense colour for the flowers is the focal point of this work - their sunny warmth creating a cheerful image.
Born in 1963 in Dundee, Elspeth Roberts trained at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. Her exhibitions include the RSA, and Scottish Print Open Three, which was organised by Dundee Printmakers Workshop in 1983. She currently lives in Glasgow.
