'If there is a recurring theme in my work it is looking through things; through trees, through figures and through the surface. I like pictorial mechanisms that move the viewer's gaze both emphatically and subtly; springs and arrows, snakes and ladders and I'm interested in an interference between the rectilinear and something more fluid and lyrical.'
Lloyd graduated in Fine Art at Maidstone in 1986. Recent exhibitions include:
