This is a cheerful and bright representation of land, trees and birds. The artist divides each colour block into rectangular land shapes that resembles a patchy quilt. As a flat one dimensional piece it strongly evokes endearing children's drawing and painting techniques.
Tracy Johnston completed her BA in Printmaking from Gray's school of Art during 1988-92. She now runs her business Claremont Studio in art and design services.
This artwork was purchased from her degree dhow at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen.
