This mixed media work is intended to "evoke the physical and emotional upheaval of major change, in this case moving house. It is a time for reflection on the past, as memories are uncovered, and a time for contemplation of the future." This work is from studies drawn from around Jo's old home and the surrounding area, including nearby allotments where change and renewal is a constant.

Having previously worked as a lawyer, Jo Edwardson attended Leith School of Art for four years, which included three years on the Painting Course. Jo completed the Foundation Course in 2013 and is now working from her studio at Beaverhall. She lives with her family in Edinburgh.
