Anne-Marie Nicol's work is based on landscapes and buildings, which she abstracts into simple coloured shapes. This screen print is partly based on the architectural forms of an old Abbey, seen in the arch shapes, and partly intended to represent the effect of sunlight on the grass around the Abbey.
