This painting was originally commissioned for a maternity ward and interprets the theme of the birds and bees with warmth and wit.
This work is also one of our ‘Adopt an Artworks’, adopted by Suzanne Reid, who wrote: “I chose to sponsor this artwork as it makes me chuckle”. Suzanne also recalls walking past a Frances Walker painting “which brightened the route between the ward and the Special Care Unit in the maternity wing in Aberdeen where my son was born”, stating that she “found it very comforting and hope(s) others will find similar succour from Pat’s painting”.
