The Power of the Line in Lockdown
Doodles , Lines and Paint
During the COVID 19 epidemic art has been my life ‘line’. The lines we often draw unconsciously while our minds are dealing with other matters are our ‘doodles’. Doodles often turn into a drawing or design we had not planned but are pleasantly surprised by. A line drawing gives us an outline of a subject we have consciously chosen to draw and follow the subjects form. And finally we can colour between the lines of our drawing to give our chosen subject more depth and perception. The Power of the Line in Lockdown.
