Ecoprint
I seem to have produced so little in November but I have one photograph of my last ecoprint from the walled garden in October when I felt in a good place. It was my first time to do my process in front of visitors and volunteers on my little fire at the garden.
The pic shows cotton naturally dyed grey with oak galls harvested as the acorns fell and some late flowers from a Mexican alpine plant I grew this year in my back garden. The sparky yellow leaf print from the most common of Scottish weeds, yellow dock, fireweed, cherry leaves and the orange glow in the gloom from Bidens ferulifolia.
Looking at this picture seems to describe my state of mind right now, a lot of gloomy grey I am afraid.
The natural world is my positive place I suppose.
