“This is how I make my prints ideally in a setting where I hear the birds and feel the elements all around me. The raw ingredients for the ‘artwork’ are seasonal leaves and flowers picked on the day of making things usually or dried and stored for winter use.
I have ended up making a similar contraption in my back garden and this April have been my first attempts at finding this peace of mind and creativity in my own little space. For the first time in years I stood up for myself being a little peculiar and not caring what the neighbours think….I am happy doing what I do in my own garden…It is hard to explain but I feel these are like seasonal expressions of my neighbourhood and the plants I walk past of trees I see where the birds perch and sing, flowers the bees visit.”
