Positive Places

We chose to do a joint piece for this exhibition to honour our friendship (Stephanie and Kim) and the friendship in our lovely art group (Lynn, Sushmita, Anne, Lindsay and Angela). Our ‘positive places’ piece is also about relaxing environments (this one being Portobello Beach), natural surroundings, cuppas, chats and quotes to represent the times we have shared together and that remind us that this group is a positive place for us also.
Moreover, the quotes we picked were to describe the positive impact of what it has been like to be a part of this group. They represent the support and moments of joy this friendship and art group have created during the rollercoaster of year 2020.
Our piece can be summarised by these quotes:
“Anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.”
“Happiness is having a cuppa with friends.”
