Lavender fields
A woven piece made of wool and up-cycled T-shirt yarn on a piece of driftwood
Inspired by Scottish nature and calming qualities of lavender (plant) and lavender colour.
A lighthouse
Driftwood, old button and pins, painted with acrylic
Inspired by Newhaven Harbour and daily walks to a local beach. I have always had a strong connection with water/ sea and many pieces are inspired by the Scottish coastline.

Installation
All the pieces apart from the painting of the female with the sea shell (purchased at Leith Walk Gallery in summer 2020) are made by the artist and again, inspired by local coastline. Driftwood and shells-found on Wardie Beach, wool and up-cycled T-shirt yarn used for two wall hangings. The sea landscape at the top right corner had been hand felted and stitched to canvas.
