Spirit of the desert (The Lizards)
Mixed Media on Canvas

This particular piece is the artist personal response to BLM worldwide protests and sympathising with the idea of racial equality through one’s art.

Three HUMBIRDS
Driftwood, clay, pine cones and sea glass plus up-cycled wire

Three creatures from this installation are half human, half birds and had been created by the artist during the lockdown with locally resourced natural materials. They are a manifestation of organic connection between the Earth, nature and finally humankind.

A lonely lighthouse
Handmade t-shirt yarn, up-cycled wool and driftwood found on a local beach

Weaving had been used as self-prescribed art therapy by the artist. This particular piece had been inspired by walks to local Newhaven harbour (with similar lighthouse) and Wardie Beach, where a piece of driftwood was found.
