This piece has a symbolic quality which is open to the viewer’s interpretation. It is one of a series of paintings inspired by the Solway and other visits to Scottish Rivers.
Alfons Jasinski was born in Falkirk and studied at Edinburgh College of Art, where he specialised in mural painting.
