Big Give Arts for Impact 2025 - 1 Week to Go!

It is just a week until the launch of our 2025 Big Give Arts for Impact Campaign.

This is the second year that we are taking part in this campaign. Last year we managed to raise an incredible £5,000 which made a significant difference to our charity. This year, with your help, we are hoping to do the same.

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for our creative workshops which are designed to support adults living with long-term health conditions [mental and/or physical], unpaid caring responsibilities and those experiencing loneliness and isolation.

Our programmes of regular creative workshops are delivered in communities that are often over-looked and under-served. We also provide on-line workshops for adults unable to leave home due to ill health, including long Covid. Our workshops, co-designed with participants, provide:

  • Improved mental health: Reduced anxiety, increased resilience, and greater self-confidence.
  • Stronger connections: A sense of belonging and purpose.
  • Combating loneliness: Connecting with others and building networks.

For one week only –  the18th to the 25th of March – you can have your donation DOUBLED, meaning your donation will have twice the impact.

With your help, funds raised will allow us to:

  • Maintain our current level of workshop delivery for the next year.
  • Continue to provide workshops that are free for participants.
  • Continue to provide regular work for 6+ visual artists.
  • Continue to make use of accessible community facilities in areas of Edinburgh that have limited infrastructure and creative opportunities.

We want to maintain our current level of programme and continue to work with over 250+ adults per annum who will benefit from participating in creative opportunities. By working alongside participants over a sustained period of time we are able to observe individuals develop strategies to self-manage health conditions, develop support networks and increase in confidence and resilience.

All money raised will go towards the costs of running our programmes of creative workshops. These costs include artist fees, booking fees for community spaces, art materials and refreshments.

We’re so grateful for your continued support and can’t wait to share our live campaign with you.
