Sketching Out and About

As part of our Taking Art Home project we’ve been travelling around the world via our living rooms and sketchbooks. Here is a small selection of where we’ve been. Grab some drawing materials and paper / sketchbook and come along!

First Stop: Pittenweem

Second Stop: The Bass Rock

We’re going to try to capture the stormy seas around the Bass Rock just off the coast of North Berwick.

Third Stop: Gallery of Modern Art

We’re hanging out outside the gallery of modern art today drawing some Barbara Hepworth Sculptures.

Last Stop: Grand Canal Venice

Sometimes we can’t physically get to a place to make a film so we travel through google maps or live CCTV cameras. Be inspired by some artworks in our collection to travel to Venice to sketch the Grand Canal.
