Thanks to a grant from the Association of Independent Museums [AIM], the Art in Healthcare team participated in an excellent workshop led by Graham Taylor, who provides fine art and museum technical services, yesterday. The three-hour workshop focused on handling and packing our large and varied art collection. The purpose of the training was to ensure that all team members have a baseline knowledge of good practice and to support us to create a set of guidelines.

It was an excellent workshop, and we all gained some practical skills to take forward into our daily roles. We very much enjoyed Graham’s approach to training which highlighted best-practice whist also supporting us to think about our own situation and what is possible with current resources.
