We are delighted to announce that we have been funded by ‘Edinburgh 900’ to run our Room For Art workshops for health and wellbeing outside in Edinburgh’s green spaces this August.
We have 4 away days organised for our groups at The Gallery of Modern Art and Water of Leith, Saughton Park and Jock Tamsons Gairden.
These nature inspired art workshops will explore Edinburgh parks and heritage as well as promoting the benefits to health and wellbeing of time spent outdoors enjoying nature.
The Edinburgh 900 programme was launched on 31st of July and represents almost a millennium of shared history. The full programme will examine how Edinburgh came to be over the centuries. The programme also supports Edinburgh in the present day shining a light on local communities.
