Taking Art Home

This role will support the Taking Art Home project. Taking Art Home is a participatory visual arts programme to support the health and wellbeing, and provide quality creative opportunities, for around 80 adults for a year in Scotland living with long term physical and mental health conditions who find it very difficult to leave the house. https://www.artinhealthcare.org.uk/art-workshops/taking-art-home/

Our Taking Art Home workshops are run online and encourage exploration, play and experimentation with a range of different materials and techniques, sometimes influenced by our collection of art. We start from the skills and ideas within each group; participants share their interests, and we shape workshops accordingly.  We often ‘sketch’ outside via google maps, live webcams and pre-recorded video content.
