Running until Saturday 28 May 2022 at MacRobert Arts Centre, University of Stirling, A Passion for Art: Matilda Hall, Collector and Curator is an exhibition curated by Art in Healthcare founder Matilda Hall. This beautiful show features seven works from our collection, such as Andy Goldworthy’s Sweet Chestnut Leaf Hole and Alan Davie’s Magic Casket.
Matilda Hall has been a collector and supporter of Scottish art for over fifty years. As P.A. to the University of Stirling’s first Principal Tom Cottrell, she helped to collect for the university and later was integral to the founding of charity Art in Healthcare. Matilda is also a collector in her own right and with her late husband Douglas Hall, who was the First Keeper of the National Gallery of Modern Art in Edinburgh.” MacRobert Arts Centre.
New Faces
Art in Healthcare has two new team members. Margaret McCormick is an experienced and respected Curator, working closely with the collection to curate bodies of work for display in hospitals and healthcare settings across Scotland.
She’s supported by Rowan Dahl, as Collection Assistant. Rowan is a recent graduate working with maintaining the collection and supporting the curation of work, as well as writing this news update. We’re excited to be joining the team and are really looking forward to doing what we can to help improve the lives of people
in healthcare.
